2. Safety

2.1 Explanation of symbols

WARNING!

hazardous area that can result in serious injury or death, if
not avoided.

2.2 Intended use

The field temperature transmitter is universal, configurable via the
corresponding, built-in transmitter, for use with resistance thermometers
(RTD), thermocouples (TC), resistance and voltage sources as well as
potentiometers. It consists of a temperature transmitter and a field case
and is suitable for use in hazardous areas.
The non-observance of the instructions for use in hazardous areas can
lead to the loss of the explosion protection. Adhere to the following limit
values and instructions (see data sheet).
