Incorrect repairs are dangerous. Repairs may only
be carried out by an authorized servicer. If the
appliance is not functioning properly, unplug the
power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

Disruption
The appliance does not work
After the appliance has been
switched off, the illuminated ring
flashes white slowly three times.
After the appliance has been
switched off, the illuminated ring
flashes white rapidly six times.
The fan continues to run after the
appliance has been switched off.
The illuminated ring flashes slowly
orange.
The appliance switches itself off
while in use; the illuminated ring
flashes orange and white alternately
Appliance runs in automatic mode,
illuminated ring flashes yellow and
magenta
Illuminated ring flashes magenta -
yellow

Possible cause
No connection to the remote
fan unit.
Power failure
Faulty fuse
The metal grease filter is sat-
urated.
The activated charcoal filter
in the remote fan unit is satu-
rated.
The run-on function is
switched on.
Safety switch off:
The controls on the appliance
have not been used for a long
time
The appliance remains off
after a power failure
The window is closed using
the window contact switch
Automatic sensor is faulty
Appliance fault
Faults often have simple explanations. Please read the

Solution
Check whether the plugs of the connection
cable are properly inserted.
Check whether other kitchen appliances are
working.
Check in the fuse box to make sure that the
fuse for the appliance is in working order.

Change the activated charcoal filter in the
