Clogged air filter.
Clogged fuel filter.
Lean fuel/air mixture.

Shorted spark plug or loose terminal.
Ignition failure.
Piston seizure.
Ground (stop) wire is disconnected or

Broken clutch spring or worn clutch

Remedy
Clean or replace the air filter.
Replace the fuel filter.
Consult with an authorized
servicing dealer.
Adjust idle. Check Specifications page for
correct idle speed.
Reset the switch and re-start.

Drain; replace with clean fuel. See Fuel
