2. Cutting angle setting
It can cut vertically and with an inclination of up to 45º.
The angle is adjusted by loosening the wing nut M and
according the scale printed on the base.
3. Riving knife adjustment
WARNING: The riving knife F prevents the blade from
seizing up duriing cutting operations and shold alwyas
be used for safety reasons.
The machine is supplied with the riving knife adjusted.
When fitting a new blade, follow the steps below for
readjustment:
1. Raise the mobile guard C and loosen rhe screw button B.
2. Move the wedge through the slot to a distance from
the teeth tip and a cutting depth from same of 2 to 3
mm (máx. 5 mm).
3. Tighten the screw B and the machine is ready to work.
4. Lateral fence adjustment
For parallel cutting, use the lateral fence I.
The cutting width is adjusted with the scale or according
to the plotting.
Tighten the wing nut H to work with the lateral fence.
10. SPECIFICATIONS (SR210)
Progressive start up.
It allows the tool to be started at low speed and increase
speed gradually. The axle turns on and speeds up gradually
without jerking until the set speed is reached.
Constant speed.
The turning speed remains constant regardless of the
pressure on the working surface. Constant turning speed
ensures optimum sanding quality.

11. DUST COLLECTION

Always make sure that the tool is swit-
ched off and unplugged before fitting
or removing any dust extraction device.
Dust extraction keeps the workplace clean, prevents dust
build-up in the air and facilitates waste elimination.
This saw is equipped with a dust extraction nozzle that
can be connected together our standard dust collection
attachment ref. 6446073 (2.25 m) or 1746245 (5 m)
(optional accessories) to our dust collectors AS182K,
AS282K, ASM582T, ASC682 or to any industrial dust
collection system.
CAUTION: Always use a dust collector designed in
accordance with the applicable guidelines on sawdust
emission.

12. MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the machine before ca-
rrying out any work on it.
- Checking the saw blade. Deposits of resin and glue on
the saw blade cause inefficient cutting. To avoid them,
always clean the blade immediately after use.
- Inspect the mounting screws. Regularly inspect all the
mounting screws and ensure they are firmly tightened.
Should any screw be loose, tighten it immediately. Failure
to do so could put you at serious risk.
- Motor maintenance. Always take the greatest care
over this and make sure that the motor winding is not
damaged and does not become wet with oil or water.
- The vents should always be kept clean and free of
obstacles.
- Clean the machine thoroughly after each use. Blast
the motor regularly with compressed air.
- Check that the mains cord is in good condition. If
it is not, take it to a Virutex official service centre to
have it replaced.
- Brush replacement. Brushes must be replaced when
length reaches 8 mm or less. To do so, please contact
an authorized after sales service center.
We recommend that every two carbon brushes repla-
cement in our services centres you also order a general
maintenance (cleaning and lubrication).
- Use only Virutex accessories and spares. Parts the chan-
ging of which is not showed in this instruction manual,
should be replaced in a Virutex official service centre.
13. NOISE AND VIBRATION LEVEL
The noise and vibration levels of this device have
been measured in accordance with European standard
EN60745-2-5 and EN 60745-1 and serve as a basis for
comparison with other machines with similar appli-
cations.
The indicated vibration level has been determined for
the device's main applications and may be used as an
initial value for evaluating the risk presented by expo-
sure to vibrations. However, vibrations may reach levels
that are quite different from the declared value under
other application conditions, with other tools or with
insufficient maintenance of the electrical device or its
accessories, reaching a much higher value as a result
of the work cycle or the manner in which the electrical
device is used.
Therefore, it is necessary to establish safety measures
to protect the user from the effects of vibrations, such
as maintaining both the device and its tools in perfect
condition and organising the duration of work cycles
(such as operating times when the machine is subjected
to loads, and operating times when working with no-load,
