SEM13 (fig. 33)
The product SEM 13 has been designed to be installed under the furniture, with the lower
outlet of the downdraft
This product can be used only with the S-DD17 or S-DD16, in the external motor version.
The appliance has been designed to suck vapours and odours in an optimal and almost noi-
seless way .
We recommend to use the product with a constant diameter piping of 150mm or similar sec-
tions.
We recommend to use piping without elbows, as they negatively affect the performance of the
appliance.
Installation procedure: place the appliance under the downdraft , corresponding to the air out-
let, as shown in (fig. 33).
All fittings are supplied with the appliance, along with a rectangular pipe that connects the
downdraft to the SEM13 product
The appliance is equipped with a 1.5 meter long power cable, to be connected to the hood in
the specific terminal board found inside the plastic black box.
It is supplied with a metallic cover, to be installed between the SEM13 and the hole reali-
zed at the basis of the furniture, as shown in fig. 35. This component can be installed on
a hole of 365mm x 230mm (fig. 35).
Connect the ducts between the downdraft and the SEM13, then connect the ducts with the
air outlet of the product.
In the filtering version, the air outlet must be connected to the outside of the furniture, so
that the sucked air is put back in the kitchen.
The ducts are not supplied with the SEM13.
In the drawing 35 and 36, the possible installations of the remote motor SEM13 with the
products S-DD11 and S-DD16 are shown."
We recommend installing the metal box containing the electronic components at least 10
cm above floor level and at a suita- ble distance from all heat sources (e.g. oven sides or
cook top).
With reference to the Energy Label standard and taking into account its performances, it is not
necessary to equip the product with any time control device.
