3 Addressing the miniature valves
Each valve coil is assigned to a soldering socket in order
that the valves can be controlled. A valve location always
occupies one address. Unused valve locations, e.g. re-
serve plates, also occupy one address.
Caution
The components will be damaged if you touch the con-
tact surfaces of the plug connectors and if you do not
observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Controlling the valves
Control the valves in a uniform manner. Preferably, all con-
trol signals should be positive-switching (1-switching),
otherwise negative-switching (0-switching). Mixed mode
control is not permitted.
Address assignment of the valves
– Assign the addresses in ascending order without gaps.
– A valve location always occupies one address.
– Counting begins from left to right (position of basis
block: soldering sockets are behind the valves).
