M. Variable Back Stop Assembly
1.
Refer to sections (H) and (I) to remove base,
arms, cowl, seat hook screws, seat hook springs,
and spring bracket. Unhook VBS cable; refer to
section (L).
2.
Engage seat tilt lever to release pressure on
chair control.
3.
Remove VBS mechanism from chair control by
sliding toward rear of chair.
4.
Install new assembly in chair.
5.
Reattach cable inside new assembly. Replace
all other parts in reverse order.
