OPERATION
The electronic control air conditioner consists of a con-
trol panel and a remote control. Both the control panel
or the remote control can be used to set cooling and fan
modes and adjust the desired temperature. See
Fig. 2 and 3. Other additional features are provided.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
The temperature display is located in the top center of
the control panel. See Fig. 2. During normal operation
when the unit is on, the temperature display will show
the current room temperature. When the up or down
arrows are used to change the thermostat setting, the
temperature display will show the desired tempera-
ture setting and not room temperature. The display
will revert back to room temperature after a delay. All
temperatures are in Fahrenheit.
The temperature display is also used to display hours
when the timer is used.

Either the remote control or the control panel on the
air conditioner can be used to control the unit. The
battery cover on the remote control will need to be
opened and the tape strip removed before it can be
used. See Fig. 4.

TURN UNIT OFF/ON — Press the ON/OFF button
on the remote control or control panel. When the air
conditioner is first turned on, the display will show the
current room temperature.

FAN SPEED — The air conditioner fan speed can be
set to HI, MED, LO, or AUTO COOL. The fan speed
controls the amount of air that is circulated by the air
conditioner. Press the Select button (Fan Speed button
on remote control) to change the fan speed. The HI,
MED, LO, or AUTO COOL LEDs will light to show you
what fan speed has been selected.
