Introducing the SteakMaster
Your new SteakMaster will revolutionise the
way you prepare meat with its exclusive heat-
ing system in the upper part of the oven. The
ceramic heating plates, especially designed
by Teka, irradiate strong heat over the meat
(up to 700ºC on the surface of the plate). This
new intensive heating function, together with
the special cast iron SteakMaster grill, permit a
good uniform seal of the meat on the outside,
allowing it to conserve its juices, aroma and
texture on the inside.
It is electrically-operated and works with the
oven door closed, thus ensuring that the in-
tense heat inside the oven is not released to
the outside, making this method of cooking at
home totally safe and convenient.
Cooking with traditional functions
OVEN FUNCTIONS
In addition to the traditional cooking functions
(explained in the User Manual supplied with the
oven), you can also cook with the SteakMaster
function.
This guide focuses on explaining and offering
tips on how to cook with the SteakMaster func-
tion and get the best our of your appliance.
TO COOK WITH THE STEAKMASTER
FUNCTION
Switch on the oven by pressing the ON/OFF
button.
As well as producing the perfect T-bone steak,
you can use your SteakMaster to prepare oth-
er cuts of meat, fish and even vegetables.
Thanks to the oven's pyrolysis function, clean-
ing becomes a fast, simple and comfortable
task, without the need for chemical products
or effort. Select the appropriate pyrolysis cy-
cle depending on how dirty the oven is. When
the cycle has finished, wipe the surfaces with
a damp cloth to remove any traces of ash (see
cleaning function).
Turn the left-hand control until the function
(
) appears in the centre of the dial on the
screen.
Press OK to confirm.
A welcome to the function screen is displayed.
After a few seconds the screen displays three
possible SteakMaster cooking modes:
• TEMPERATURE
Specially recommended for the correct
preparation of meat and for obtaining the
best cooking results, just like professional
chefs.
• MANUAL
: For cooking in manual
mode.
• AUTO (ASSISTED)
