5 Disconnecting the Inverter from Voltage Sources
18. Disconnect the communication assembly from the
inverter. To do so, release and remove the ribbon
cable from the communication assembly.
Discharging residual voltages in the inverter
Prior to removing individual assemblies, all assemblies must always be discharged.

Danger to life due to high voltages in the inverter
The capacitors in the inverter take 5 minutes to discharge.
• Wait 5 minutes before opening the upper enclosure lid.
2. Remove the DC protective cover. To do so, release
all 4 screws from the DC protective cover (hex
socket, AF3) and remove it.
