3. Locate the Wall Jambs
Position the wall jamb with the base centered on the shower threshold.
Make a pencil mark at the bottom pre-drilled hole.
Remove the wall jamb.
NOTE: Some filing may be required on the wall jambs if your bath unit has curved corners.
NOTE: When installing on ceramic tile, use a center punch to nick the surface of the glaze. Tap the center
punch lightly with a hammer to avoid cracking the tile.
Slowly drill a pilot hole at the mark with a 3/16" drill bit.
Insert a wall anchor into the hole.
Secure the wall jamb loosely in place using a #8-18 x 2" panhead screw.
Level the wall jamb.
Make a pencil mark at each of the three remaining pre-drilled holes.
Move the wall jamb out of the way.
Slowly drill a pilot hole at each of the three remaining marks with a 3/16" drill bit.
Thoroughly clean the shower ledge.
Insert a wall anchor into each drilled hole.
Secure the wall jamb in place using three #8-18 x 2" panhead screws.
Repeat for the other wall jamb, making sure it is directly opposite the installed wall jamb.
