IMPORTANT: If there are no drawers on the left side of the 404972 Executive

Desk, go to step 14.
Remove the drawers from the Desk and carefully turn the Desk over onto its
å
top. Remove the Turnbuckle and Long Support Rod from the Top.
NOTE: Be sure you do not lose any hardware that is removed. It will be used later.
å
Next, remove the Extension Rails from the Left End.
å
Then, remove the Bottom from the Desk. To do so, turn the four screws in the
å
Twist-Lock Fasteners counter-clockwise. Now, with the palm of your hand, tap
down on the Bottom until the Bottom is free from the Twist-Lock Fasteners. Pull
the Twist-Lock Fasteners out of the End and Upright. Repeat this step for the Left
Upright. Then, remove the Fixed Shelf.
NOTE: Be sure to hold the Bottom and Fixed Shelf with your free hand to prevent

them from falling.
