IMPORTANT: If there are no drawers on the right side of the 404972 Executive

Desk, go to step 6.
Remove the drawers from the Desk and carefully turn the Desk over onto its
å
top. Remove the Turnbuckle and shorter Support Rod from the Top.
NOTE: Be sure you do not lose any hardware that is removed. It will be
å
used later.
Next, remove the Extension Rails from the Right End.

Then, remove the Bottom from the Desk. To do so, turn the four screws in the
å
TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS counter-clockwise. Now, with the palm of your
hand, tap down on the Bottom until the Bottom is free from the TWIST-LOCK®
FASTENERS. Pull the TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS out of the End and Upright.
Repeat this step for the Right Upright.
NOTE: Be sure to hold the Bottom with your free hand to prevent it from falling.
