To extend the top tether,
press the top tether
adjuster button and pull
to lengthen the strap.

Hang the latch behind
the rear seat on the
attachment point. There
are 3 possible options
on how to fix the latch.
Refer to the illustration

Ensure the top tether
clip is tightened up.
NOTE: For the safety of your
child, the top tether must be tightened up during driving.

First, pull out the belt from the belt ALR. Shoulder belt through the same side of
guidance 1, lap belt through the same side of guidance 3. Then, pull the shoulder belt
and lap belt together through another side of guidance 3.

To fasten the seat belt across child: lap portion of the vehicle seat belt should rest within
both lower belt guides with buckle located on the outside of the child restraint.

Place shoulder portion into the upper belt guide on the headrest so that belt lays
properly across child: on the collar bone, interior (A) to the shoulder (B).

Fasten the vehicle seat belt. You will hear an audible CLICK! Pull the seat belt tight to
make sure it is not twisted.
13.
Make sure seat belt is not twisted and remove slack from seatbelt so it lays flat, smooth
and snug across child in all locations.
CAUTION: The shoulder seat belt section must run diagonally backward. You can adjust the
course of the belt with your vehicle's adjustable belt deflector on both sides.
WARNING: If lap and shoulder belt portions of seat belt and seat belt buckle are not all
correctly positioned, restraint is not properly installed as a booster seat.
WARNING: Check that child restraint is securely installed before each use.
SECURING THE CHILD
WARNING: If your child is not properly secured in the child restraint, they may be ejected in a
crash, resulting in serious injury or death.

Place your child in the child restraint in a seated position.

The child should be seated against both the back and bottom of the seat with no gap
behind the child. Do not allow the child to slouch.

(For group I):
the buckle tongues into the buckle. Check the shoulder straps height. Straps must be
well fitted and not twisted!

(For groups II, III): Pull the vehicle belt. Pull the vehicle belt. Route the lap belt portion
under the armrests to the vehicle belt buckle. Insert the 3-point vehicle belt in the
buckle until you hear a click.
• A child restraint positions your child so that the seat belt fits across the strong bones of
the hips and pelvis and not the abdomen, to protect your child from injury.
• The shoulder portion of the seat belt should be positioned over the chest and collarbone,
staying between your child's neck and shoulder so that it does not touch the neck.
