 Check position of the guard:
The rubber extraction ring should protrude over
the sanding pad by approx. 0–1 mm.
If required, correct (see "Adjusting the guard").
 Insert the mains plug into the socket.
 Switch on the electric power tool (without
locking the button) and leave it running for
approx. 30 seconds. Check for imbalances
and vibrations.
 Switch off the electric power tool.

 Loosen the screw connection on the guard.
 Set the guard hood to the required height.
 Tighten the screw connection.

Brief operation without engaged
switch rocker:
1. Press and hold down the starting lockout.
2. Press the switch.
3. To switch off, release the switch.
Continuous operation with engaged
switch rocker:
1. Press and hold down the starting lockout.
2. Press and hold down the switch.
3. Press the locking button.
