Performing a Blood Glucose Test

Warning:
1. Lancets are for single use only.
2. Keep lancing device and lancets clean.
3. Use caution when removing the used lancet from the
device and when disposing of it.
4. The meter and lancing device are for single patient
use. Do NOT share them with anyone including other
family members. Do NOT use on multiple patients.

Preparing the Lancing Device

STEP 1: Twist off the Lancing
Device Cover. See Figure 22.
STEP 2: Insert a sterile lancet into
the Lancet Carrier. See Figure 23.
STEP 3: Hold the Lancet Needle
Cover and gently twist it off the
Lancet. See Figure 24.
