Before You Begin - Important Information
Before using your VL line system, please review the following items for information that is
important for the safety and protection of your product.
1. Read the instruction manual.
2. Keep the instruction manual for future reference.
3. Stay alert to all warnings.
4. Follow all instructions.
5. Do not use this equipment near water.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not block the ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat source, such as heaters, hot air vents, ovens, or other equipment (including amplifiers)
that produce heat.
9. Protect the amplifier panel from damage of the connectors as well as the potentiometer.
10. Use only connectors specified by the manufacturer.
11. If you use cart or board for transport, make sure it is in good condition. Caution when
transporting the equipment to avoid tipping accidents.
12. Unplug the system from lightning and storms or when not in use for long periods of time.
13. All maintenance must be done by qualified personnel. Maintenance is required when the
apparatus has been damaged, such as a bad or broken cable or plug, crumpled screen,
scratched or broken cabinet, if the unit does not operate normally or has been dropped.
14. Product handling instructions: "CAUTION - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ACCIDENTS, MAKE NO
MAINTENANCE OR HANDLING BEYOND WHAT IS CONTAINED IN THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF THIS
MANUAL."
15. WARNING - DO NOT EXPOSE THIS EQUIPMENT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
•
This equipment is not waterproof;
•
VL line equipment is not intended for installation in outdoor environments with high humidity. Exposure to
moisture can damage the amplifier and also the speaker cone, cause corrosion of electrical contacts,
cause corrosion of metal parts, and even damage the cabinet;
•
Do not expose the equipment to direct or intense sunlight , this ultraviolet (UV) radiation may degrade the
equipment.
16. PAINT CARE- never use solvent, thinner or any other chemical to clean your equipment. For cleaning use a
clean, lightly moistened cloth.
17. Avoid strong impacts as this may damage your equipment. If your equipment gets scratched, it is very important
that it gets repaired. If it is not repaired, the wood will be exposed to weather and humidity, and this exposure may
damage it.
18. CAUTIONS ON LIFTING AND INSTALLATION- The VL6A lift system has been carefully dimensioned to be
extremely safe. To maintain its reliability and safety in operation some points must be observed:
•
Never lift a number of boxes larger than specified.
•
At each assembly, check the integrity of the connecting elements (pins, articulating angles, side profiles,
lifting rails, straps, shackles, hoists, chains, load rods, etc.), always looking for some indication that any of
these elements may fail when subject to the weight of the system (cracks, deformed bores, chains with
open rings, parts corroded by rust, etc.).
•
In outdoor shows, always lower the system when the wind makes it oscillate.
•
The system must be lifted by the central bar of the lifting grid.
•
Always verify that the whole structure in which the system will be lifted supports the weight with the same
safety coefficient of the system; if it is stable and properly stationary.
