Background lighting

The background lighting on the display turns off after about
5 seconds to save battery power .

Battery replacement indicator

When the battery icon appears in the display field for inside 7,
you should replace the batteries in the weather station as soon
as possible (see also the chapter Using the weather station for
the first time) .
When the battery icon appears in the display field for outside 3
or in the display e of the outdoor sensor, you should replace the
batteries in the outdoor sensor as soon as possible (see also the
chapter on Using the outdoor sensor for the first time) .

Press the LIGHT button 8 to turn on the display back-
ground lighting for about 5 seconds .
