Do not mix alkaline, carbon-zinc (standard), Ni-Cd (recharge-
able) or other types of batteries .
Use only the correct type and size of battery indicated .
Always insert the batteries the right way (observe correct
polarity); otherwise there is a risk that they could explode .
Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior
to battery installation .
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time,
remove the batteries .
Remove discharged batteries from equipment promptly to
avoid possible damage from leakage .
Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking
care not to mix old and new ones .
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using
the product and keep it away from children .
