Replace the filter
I
(art. no. 8PS 351 327-231) of
the flushing unit after every five
fully flushed air conditioning
systems.
Always flush in the opposite of
I
the original direction of coolant

flow.
The cylinder of the flushing
I
unit heats up during the flushing
process and must be allowed to
properly cool down before
touching it.
Compressors, expansion/throttle
I
valves and filter air dryers/
accumulators cannot be flushed
and should be bridged by means
of an adapter while flushing.
flushing process.
After flushing, drain the
I
accumulated oil off the bottom
of the flushing unit. Remove the
cover cap and open the stop
cock.
After flushing the unit, replace
I
expansion/throttle valves and
filter air dryers/accumulators and
check whether the compressors
need to be replaced
Since multi-flow components do
I
not take well to flushing and
since there is a risk of dirt
remaining in the unit, a so-called
compressor strainer should be
installed in the suction pipe
(upstream the compressor inlet)
after flushing the unit.
After flushing and re-assembly,
I
leak-test the air conditioning.
Gaskets of uninstalled
I
components to be replaced after
every flushing of the unit
After flushing, fill up the air
I
conditioning system/climate
component with the amount of
coolant and oil specified by the
manufacturer.
