9. CONTROLLI PRIMA
DELL'AVVIAMENTO
MODELLI PB 70 SH FUNZIONANTI CON
MOTORE A SCOPPIO
Leggere attentamente il libretto di istruzioni
del motore, che troverete allegato al qui
presente libretto della macchina, ma
comunque:
Controllare il livello olio del motore, se è
basso, rabboccate indossando guanti di
protezione possibilmente di nitrile (interno
cotone); la coppa dell'olio per motori da 4
HP-3 KW contiene circa hg.6 di olio;
l'olio da noi consigliato per climi temperati
è 10W-30.
Fare rifornimento di benzina
(motore spento e freddo).
ATTENZIONE : TENETE LA BENZINA
FUORI DALLA PORTATA
DEI BAMBINI, IN UN LUOGO
ASCIUTTO E AERATO,
LONTANO DA FONTI DI CALORE.
IMPORTANTE :Il contenitore della benzina
deve essere adatto a tale scopo e ben
pulito, ciò vi assicurerà una buona durata
del filtro benzina del motore; usate un
contenitore capacità tale da dover esaurire
la benzina in 2/3 mesi, così da avere sempre
benzina fresca.
MODELLI PB 70 ET FUNZIONANTI A
BATTERIA
Controllate se la batteria è già piena e
carica in caso contrario, troverete anche
delle boccette di soluzione già pronta
acidosolforica. Procedete in questo
modo:
ATTENZIONE: Operazione da
eseguirsi muniti di forbici,
guanti di protezione,
eventualmente occhiali,
recipiente per il travaso pulito e
imbuto.
Leggere prima al cap. 8 sez. 2 punto 1.
Tagliare con le forbici l'estremità del
recipiente plastico della soluzione
acidosolforica, e versarla per il travaso.
Togliere i tappi dalla batteria e quindi con
l'ausilio dell'imbuto versare fino al livello
massimo segnato all'esterno della batteria
(comunque 5/10 mm al di sopra delle piastre
o tubetti della batteria).
Una volta eseguito il riempimento, è bene
attendere dalle 12 alle 24 ore e fare un
ultimo rabbocco per portare tutti gli elementi
ad uno stesso livello massimo. Procedete
quindi alla carica della batteria attenendovi
alle istruzioni riportate nel cap. 6.

9. CHECKS PRIOR TO START-UP

MODELS PB 70 SH OPERATING WITH
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Carefully read the engine instructions
booklet which you will find enclosed with
this machine's booklet, but in any case:
Check the engine oil level and if necessary
top up, wearing protective gloves preferably
made of nitril (cotton lining); the oil sump for
4 HP-3 KW contains approximately 600 g of
oil; for temperate climes we recommend
10W-30 oil.
Fill up with petrol (engine off and cold); we
recommend three or four star petrol.
ATTENTION:KEEP PETROL
OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN, IN A DRY,
VENTILATED PLACE AWAY
FROM ANY SOURCES OF HEAT.
IMPORTANT :The petrol tank must
be suitable to hold petrol and must be
completely clean; this will ensure a longer
life for the engine's petrol filter. The tank
should be big enough to hold sufficient
petrol to last about 2 to 3 months, this way
the petrol will always be new.
MODELS PB 70 ET BATTERY POWERED
Check whether the battery is already
full and charged; if it is not, you will find
available ready-to-use tubes of sulphuric
acid solution. Proceed as follows:
ATTENTION:For this operation
you will need scissors,
protective gloves, possibly
goggles, a clean container
for the transfer and a funnel.
First of all read chap. 8, sect. 2, point 1.
Use the scissors to cut the end of the
sulphuric acid solution tube and pour it into
the container.
Remove the plugs from the battery and
then, using the funnel, pour in the liquid
up to the maximum level inidcated on the
outside of the battery (in any case 5/10 mm
above the battery plates or tubes).
After filling, it is advisable to wait from 12 to
24 hours followed by a final top up to bring
all the elements up to the same maximum
level.
Now charge the battery, following the
instructions given in chapter 6.
