OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When working with the chainsaw, you should consider
some precautions and operating procedures, in order to
prevent accidents,
chainsaw's performance:
▪ Ensure that you start-up the chainsaw at a distance
of more than 3m from the fueling site;
▪ Always hold the chainsaw with both hands;
▪ Take extreme care when cutting off small branches
or bushes that may stuck the saw chain, or be
projected against you making you losing balance and
get injured;
▪ If you try to cut logs above the recommended size,
kickback can occur and cause accidents to the user;
▪ When the chainsaw is running idle, the guide bar is
not rotating. Otherwise, contact technical assistance
to carry out an inspection and solve the problem;
▪ If you hear an unusual noise or the chainsaw vibrates
abnormally, stop working and identify the cause;
▪ Never operate a chainsaw that is damaged;
Starting the engine
1. Unscrew the oil (5) and fuel tank caps (4);
2. Fill the respective tanks up to 80% of the capacity;
3. Tighten both caps and clean up any spillage that may
have occurred;
4. The ON/OFF switch is already in position "I";
5. Press the carburetor primer bulb (14) several times
until it is filled;
6. Move the choke lever to the 'CLOSE' position;
To restart the engine immediately after it has been
running for a long time, you should not turn the choke
lever. The choke lever returns to "open position" when
the throttle trigger is pressed.
7. Push the chain brake lever forward. This will keep the
chain locked in place;
8. Place the chainsaw on the ground and hold it firmly.

9. When the engine appears to start, press the throttle
trigger (11 and 12). This way, the Choke lever will go
down to "Open" position. Pull the recoil starter again
until the engine starts running;

10. Pull the chain brake lever back (towards the front
handle) in order to disengage the chain brake. Let the
engine warm up for a while.
Before starting the chainsaw, check that the chain
is not in contact with any object and make sure
that the brake is engaged.
Chain brake
The chain brake lever is a safety device that stops the
saw chain instantly.
Usually the chain brake will be engaged by a quick chain
kickback movement. It can also be triggered manually
by pushing the chain brake lever/hand guard (1)
forward in the direction of the saw chain. To unlock,
simply pull back towards the handle until you hear a
click.
When the brake is engaged, do not press the throttle
trigger!
In case it does not function, contact technical
assistance.
Stopping the engine
1. Release the throttle trigger and let the engine run for
half a minute;
2. Press the ON/OFF switch to the "O" position.
Unless an emergency situation arises, avoid
stopping the engine while pressing the throttle
trigger. In case of imminent danger or emergency, stop
the engine immediately. Set the ON/OFF switch to "O"
position;
The ON/OFF switch is already in position "I";
Chainsaw clutch
The saw chain should not move when the engine is
running at idle speed. If necessary, adjust the "T"
screw.
