Below table details fan thickness limitations in relation to installed components

Top 180mm fan
Support 180mm fan, 32mm thick.
Support 140mm fan, 25.4mm thick
Rear 120mm fan
Depending on motherboard layout and CPU cooler size,
almost any thickness should be supported.
Left fan
No fixed limitations.
Thick 120mm fans may interfere with graphic card cabling.
Right 80mm fan
Maximum thickness: 32mm

Cooling target
CPU, motherboard VRM and hard drives.
Hard drives receive airflow from the edge of the fan
installed in this area. Downgrading to a 140mm fan will
likely result in higher hard drive temperature.
