DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE: The intended user should be a licensed medical professional,
the patient or the patient's caregiver. The user should be able to read, understand and be
physically capable of performing the directions, warnings and cautions in the information
for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: Provides cushioned support for patient limb. Traps fluids
from patient, prevents pooling on O.R. surface area and expedites post-operative clean-up.
May be used post-operatively as an insulated positioner for cryotherapy applications.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to restrict motion

through elastic or semi-rigid construction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: NONE
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
• If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product should be
fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.
• Discontinue use when torn, worn, frayed or damaged in any way.
• Always inspect product prior to application to ensure all parts are in proper working order.
• Do not use over open wounds.
• If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this
product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
• Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or packaging has been opened.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising
due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
1) Open straps on protector with white interface lining side up. Position patient's arm so the
Elbow rests on the center of the protector.

2) Bring straps over the patient's arm and attach straps to hook tabs. Protector is now secure.
3) Place arm in desired position.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its accessories for
material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from the date of sale.

PERFIL DEL USUARIO PREVISTO: El usuario previsto debe ser un profesional médico

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES: Interrumpa el uso si está desgarrado, desgastado,

inspeccionarse para verificar el correcto funcionamiento de todas sus piezas. Si al usar este
producto el paciente experimentara dolor, inflamación, cambios de sensibilidad o cualquier
otra reacción inusual, consulte a un médico inmediatamente. Nunca coloque este producto
sobre una herida abierta.
CARACTERÍSTICAS DE RENDIMIENTO: Producto blando/semirrígido diseñado para
restringir el movimiento a través de una construcción elástica o semirrígida.
CONTRAINDICACIONES: NINGUNA
ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES:
• Si tiene trastornos o lesiones cutáneas en la parte relevante del cuerpo, el producto debe
colocarse y usarse solo después de consultar con un profesional médico.
• No debe aplicarse sobre heridas abiertas.
• Si se producen dolor, hinchazón, cambios en la sensación u otras reacciones
inusuales durante el uso de este producto, debe ponerse en contacto con su médico
inmediatamente.
• No utilice este dispositivo si está dañado o si el envase está abierto.
NOTA: Comuníquese con el fabricante y la autoridad competente en caso de un incidente
grave que surja debido al uso de este dispositivo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE COLOCACIÓN:
1) Abra las correas del protector, dejando el revestimiento interfaz blanco hacia arriba. Sitúe el
brazo del paciente de modo que el codo descanse en el centro del protector.
2) Pase las correas sobre el brazo del paciente y fíjelas a las lengüetas de gancho. El protector
quedará sujeto.
3) Sitúe el brazo en la posición deseada.

y sus complementos, por defectos del material o de la fabricación, durante los seis meses
siguientes a la fecha de compra.
