In case of short-circuits on the load, the electronic unit
protects the dimmer by directly interrupting the load
driving. Normal function is resumed after removing
extended short-circuits (t approx. 4 sec.) when the dimmer
is put back into operation or automatically after short-time
short-circuits (t < approx. 4 sec.).
When the temperature rises above the allowed limit (e.g. in
case of overload), the Busch dimmer 6513U-xxx
automatically goes back to minimum brightness and
interrupts load driving if the temperature continues to rise.
To resume its normal function, switch off the dimmer,
check the dimmer load and reduce it if necessary. Allow
the dimmer to cool down briefly before putting it back into
operation.
