Problem
Water runs out of the

Possible cause
There is too much water in the
water tank.
The thermal jug (10) was re-
moved from the appliance during
the brewing process and as a
result there is too much water in
the permanent fi lter (16).
The coffee powder is too fi nely
ground and the water is unable
to pass through the permanent
fi lter.
The drip stop is blocked.
The device is furred up.
The sieve is blocked.
The coffee powder is too fi nely
ground.
Too many coffee beans / too
much coffee powder used.
There is too much water in the
water tank.
The sieve is blocked.
The coffee bean compartment
and / or the coffee beans are
moist.
The device is furred up.
Fix
Do not overfi ll the water tank!
During the brewing process,
the thermal jug can be removed
from the main unit for max.
30 seconds (8).
Use coffee powder with a
coarser grind.
Clean the fi lter holder with the
drip stop.
Descale the device (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter –
"Descaling").
Clean the sieve (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter -
"Cleaning the Sieve").
Use coffee powder with a
coarser grind.
Do not exceed the maximum
fi lling quantity of the coffee bean
compartment / permanent fi lter.
Only pour the quantity of water
required for the number of cups
you want into the water tank.
Clean the sieve (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter -
"Cleaning the Sieve").
Make sure that the coffee bean
compartment and the coffee
beans are dry.
Descale the device (see the
