Balancer/ Regulator Adjustments
The balancer and regulator are used to reduce or eliminate the operator force needed to lift the tool and Torque Arm.
Balancer:
Turn knob counter-clockwise to increase the lifting force provided by the balancer. Turn knob clockwise to decrease the lifting force provided
by the balancer. For detailed instructions regarding the balancer, please refer to the balancer instruction manual Form 32048-EU, which is
included in the balancer box.
Regulator:
Turn knob counter-clockwise to decrease the pressure and the lifting force provided by the air cylinders. Turn knob clockwise to increase the
pressure and the lifting force provided by the air cylinders. Never supply more than 90 psig to the regulator. For detailed instructions regarding
the regulator, please refer to the regulator instruction manual included with the Torque Arm.

CAUTION
General Instructions:
Maintenance and repairs should be made only by authorized trained personnel; when such service or repair is required for these Torque Arms,
contact the nearest Ingersoll Rand Authorized Service Center.
WARNING
Before making any adjustments, changing accessories or storing the Torque Arm, fully decrease pressure to air cylinders with regulator first and
then disconnect the Torque Arm from air source. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of unexpected Torque Arm movement.

Parts and Maintenance

When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled, degreased and parts be separated by material so that
they can be recycled.
