Troubleshooting Tips

Possible cause
The plug of the mains adapter is not completely
plugged into the socket or the connection to the
charging cradle is interrupted
Power socket defective
The green LED or the charger / mains adapter is
defective
Battery is not correctly inserted
Battery contacts soiled, oily or corroded
Battery deeply discharged or defective
Fan motor defective
Gas cartridge empty
Igniter / ignition plug defective
Dosing valve defective, combustion chamber is not
filled with gas
Blockage due to jammed magazine, fasteners
jammed in the ejection channel.
Sleeve and ejector stiff due to soiling
Ejector is not seated properly behind the fastener
Workpiece contact of attachment sleeve twisted
or defective.
Use of wrong fasteners / magazine strips
Magazine strip / follower is stiff
Combustion chamber insufficiently filled or gas
cartridge almost empty
Overheating due to insufficient cooling or
Air inlet
Combustion chamber not compressed correctly:
Test: Press sleeve against the surface for approx. 1
min, then actuate the trigger.
If no firing is triggered, there is a loss of sealing.
Worn or twisted ejector; piston jammed due
to defective piston rings; workpiece contact of
attachment sleeve twisted.
Exhaust openings soiled or clogged
Internal, electric disconnection or loose contact
Remedy
Plug in mains adapter correctly; connect it correctly
to the charging cradle
Have the power socket checked by a qualified
technician
Have the charger / mains adapter checked by a
customer service authorized by Würth
Remove battery and insert it again until it clicks into
place
Clean battery contacts
Charge battery or remove (see Battery and charger
section)
Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
Change the gas cartridge
Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
Replace the dosing valve
Clear the jam (see Eliminating blockages section)
Clean the ejection channel and the sleeve using the
pressurized air.
Open the closure flap (Observe instructions!)
Clean the ejection channel with compressed air and
press ejector upwards
Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
Only use genuine Würth fasteners
Clean magazine
Check gas cartridge for correct seating or replace
gas cartridge
Do not hold your hand in front of the cover or clean
filter pad
