USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
REPLACEMENT (REMOVAL) OF BLADE SET
To remove the blade set from your trimmer, make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
Remove the blade set by loosening the 2 blade screws. Once the screws are loose, you
will be able to easily remove the blade set. Replace the blade set by placing into position
and tightening the 2 screws.
MAINTENANCE OF THE BLADE
Always apply oil to the blades before and after use. This will ensure maximum cutting per-
formance. Hold trimmer away from your body in a downward position and apply a drop of
BaBylissPRO
with a soft, dry cloth.

BLADE CARE

Because the trimmer blades are precision-made for a very special use, they should always be handled
with care and cleaned regularly to ensure maximum performance. Each time you finish using the trimmer,
take the cleaning brush provided and brush away any loose hair that has collected in the blades. Use
a clean cloth to dry the attachment, reattach and then store the trimmer to protect the blades until the
next use.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative, since the appliance
has no other user-serviceable parts. This product is for commercial use.
DISPOSAL OF LITHIUM-POLYMER BATTERY
This trimmer has a lithium ion polymer battery. To protect the environment, this battery should be removed
and properly disposed of when the unit is no longer operating. To remove the battery block for disposal or
recovery, follow these instructions:
1. Disconnect the trimmer from household outlet.
2. Discharge the battery pack completely before removing.
3. Remove the blade by removing the 2 blade screws.
4. Remove the 2 small screws attaching the housing together under the blade
5. Remove the 2 screws in the back of the bottom housing. NOTE: One screw is located under the rating
label.
6. Once the blade and all screws are removed, pull the top and bottom housing apart.
7. Unplug the lithium-polymer battery from the PCB.
8. To protect the environment, do not dispose of your battery with your ordinary household waste. For
more details on recovery of material and waste-treatment facilities, please contact the waste disposal
services in your region.
