Single pipe ejector packages (Models BK4830, BK4840 and
BK4850) include a 2" packer type ejector, seals, hardware,
and an assortment of nozzles and venturis to suit your well
conditions. Use Model BK4850 with vertical jet pumps on
any 2" single pipe well installation. Use Model BK4840 with
any deep well or convertible jet pump on any 2" single pipe
well installation.* Use Model BK4830 with any convertible or
deep well jet pump (single or multi-stage) on any 2" single
pipe well installation.

installation instructions.

BE SURE pump is turned off before installing the deep well
ejector.

Deep Well 2" Single Pipe
assembly
1. Use only one nozzle (Figure 5, Ref. No. 2) and one
venturi (Ref. No. 1) with any installation.
important: Consult pump owner's manual to determine
correct nozzle and venturi to use.
2. Use 5/8" deep-well socket to screw nozzle in to
recessed hole in top of ejector body (Ref. No. 3).
Tighten securely.
3. Screw venturi into top of ejector body right over nozzle.
Do not overtighten.
installation
important: Single pipe installations require galvanized
steel pipe in addition to materials in ejector package.
1. Place ejector in a pail of water for at least two hours to
soak the cup leathers.
2. After leathers are thoroughly soaked, connect ejector to
first length of pipe. Use pipe joint compound sparingly
on male threads.
3. Lower pipe into well casing. Use special turned cou-
plings (included with ejector package) and use pipe joint
compound sparingly on male threads. As pipe is added,
hold it securely and fill it with water to be sure foot valve
and connectors do not leak.
