1 - General safety warnings

Caution! • To ensure personal safety, observe all instructions provided
below. • Important safety instructions: keep these instructions in a safe
place at all times.
Caution! - Observe the following warnings. • Caution! All operations
described in this manual must be performed exclusively by skilled and qualified
personnel, in observance of current local safety standards and these instruc-
tions. • Never make modifications to any part of the product, other than as
described in this manual. Unauthorised operations may constitute a hazard and
lead to malfunctions. The manufacturer declines all liability for damage caused
by unauthorised modifications to products. • The product is not protected
against the ingress of water or other liquids. Therefore, protect the product in
the event of use outdoors. • If the product is used as a fixed control device (for
example for timed commands), is must be installed in a suitable location, out of
the reach of children and at a height of least 150 cm from the ground. • For
cleaning the product surfaces, use a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. Important –
do not use products that contain alcohol, benzene, diluents or other inflamma-
ble substances. Use of these substances could damage the product. • Handle
the LCD screen with care, taking care not to scratch it. • Keep this manual in a
safe place for future product programming and maintenance. • Dispose of the
product packaging material in full observance of current local standards.

2 - Product Description And Intended Use

Oview-TT is a device designed exclusively for Nice tubular motors and control
units used for the automation of shutters, external awnings and sun screens. To
ensure compatibility with Oview-TT these devices must be equipped with the
communication protocol "TTBus" and connections that use this Nice technolo-
gy (note – the device is also compatible with the "BusT4" communication pro-
tocol. For further information refer to Section 2 of this manual).
Any other use is to be considered improper! The manufacturer declines all
liability for damage resulting from improper use of the product and other
than as specified in this manual.
Oview-TT is connected to the motor to be programmed by means of the cable
supplied, and exchanges data with the motor using the Nice communication
