• Tape off and disregard the following (2) wires, they will not be used in this application:
White/Green, White/Red
• If retaining the factory AUX-IN jack, connect the Red & White RCA jacks to the AUX input.
For vehicles with a factory rear-view camera:
• Keep connected the Yellow male RCA jack, to the Yellow female RCA jack.
This will retain the factory rear-view camera.
For vehicles without a factory rear-view camera:
• Connect the aftermarket rear-view camera to the Yellow female RCA jack.
From the 4-pin black connector:
• Connect the Orange wire, to the Orange wire on the 18-pin harness with
stripped leads.
12-pin pre-wired ASWC-1 harness:
• This harness is to be used along with the optional ASWC-1 (sold separately) to retain steering
wheel audio controls. If the ASWC-1 is not being used, disregard this harness. If it will be
used, please refer to the ASWC-1 instructions for radio connections and programming.
Note: Disregard the harness that comes with the ASWC-1.
• Connect the Red wire to the accessory wire.

For models without a factory amplifier:
From the 18-pin harness with stripped leads to the aftermarket radio:
• Connect the (2) Red wires to the accessory wire.
Note: If installing an ASWC-1 (sold separately), there will be an accessory wire there to
connect as well.
• Connect the Blue/White wire to the amp turn on wire. This wire must be connected to hear
sound from the factory amplifier.
• Connect the Orange wire to the illumination wire, AND the Orange wire on the 4-pin
harness with stripped leads. If the aftermarket radio doesn't have an illumination wire,
just connect the Orange and Orange/White wires together.
• Connect the White wire to the left front positive speaker output.
• Connect the White/Black wire to the left front negative speaker output.
• Connect the Gray wire to the right front positive speaker output.
• Connect the Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker output.
The following (3) wires are for multimedia/navigation radios that provide these wires.
• Connect the Green/Purple wire to the reverse wire.
• Connect the Light Green wire to the parking brake wire.
• Connect the Blue/Pink wire to the VSS/speed sense wire.
