PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

BLADE INSTALLATION
Installation and removal of the blade is tool free.
• Lift the guard (8) (fig. A).
• Pull the blade holder lever (9) upwards (fig. B).
• Slide blade to the blade holder to mechanical stop (blade teeth
should face forward).
• Important! Make sure the blade is properly positioned in the
guiding roller (7).
• Set the blade holder lever (9) down and ensure the blade is
properly seated (fig. C).
Use blades suitable for T-shank holder mechanism, as shown on
fig. D.
DUST EXTRACTION
To improve dust extraction from processed material surface, the
jigsaw is equipped with own dust blow-off and extraction system,
which cleans the surface being cut. Dust blow-off and extraction
system is more efficient when the guard is lowered. Additionally,
dust extraction outlet (5) allows to attach an external dust extraction
system, e.g. workshop vacuum cleaner.
• Attach suction hose of the dust extraction system to the adapter
(5). Make sure the connection is tight.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / OFF
Before connecting the jigsaw to a power supply al
the power supply voltage matches the voltage specified on the
rating plate fixed on the power tool.
Switching on – press the switch button (2) and hold in this position.
Switching off – release the switch button (2).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (2) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (3) (fig. E).
• Release the switch button (2).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (2).
Each time the switch button (2) is pressed, the LED diode (10)
lights up to illuminate the workplace.
VOLTAGE INDICATOR
Power indicator (4) is located in the rear part of the hand grip casing,
it turns on when the power tool is connected to a mains power
supply.
CONTROL OF JIGSAW OPERATION SPEED
You can control rotational speed of the jigsaw motor by turning and
setting the work speed control wheel (1) in desired position. It allows
to adjust the power tool working speed to match characteristics of
processed material. Speed control range is 0 to 5.
The bigger the number on the wheel rim (1) (fig. F), the greater the
jigsaw operation speed.
FOOTPLATE ADJUSTMENT FOR BEVEL CUTTING
Adjustable jigsaw footplate allows to make a bevel cut in the range
from 0° to 45° (to either side).
• Use the hexagonal key and loosen the footplate (6) fixing screws.
• Move the footplate (6) backwards and tilt right or left (up to 45°).
• Set the footplate (6) at desired angle, move forward and tighten
the fixing screws to secure it (fig. G).
You can read footplate bevel angle on the angular scale located on
the footplate. Take out the hexagonal key and put it in its storage
place after adjustment is made.
CUTTING
• Put front part of the footplate (6) flat on the material that you plan
to cut.
• Switch on the jigsaw and wait until it reaches its full set rotational
speed.
• Move the jigsaw slowly and guide the blade along previously set
cutting line.
• When cutting curved lines move the jigsaw very carefully.
Make a cut at a uniform rate, be careful not to overload the jigsaw.
Excessive pressure applied on the blade will suppress its movement
and will hinder cutting efficiency.
When the jigsaw footplate does not rest on the processed
material with its whole surface, but is lifted above instead, there
is danger of breaking the blade.
CUTTING A HOLE IN MATERIAL
• Make a hole in processed material with 10 mm diameter.
• Put blade into the hole and start cutting from that spot.
METAL CUTTING / TYPES OF BLADES
Use appropriate blades with more teeth for cutting of metal.
Use appropriate coolant when cutting metal. Cutting metal without
any coolant leads to faster wear of blade. The below table gives the
rough choices for the blade type:

any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Clean the device with a dry cloth or blow through with
compressed air at low pressure.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, since they may
damage plastic parts.
• Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent
device overheating.
• In case of the power cord damage replace it with a cord with the
same specification. Entrust the repair to a qualified specialist or
return the tool to a service point.
• In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical
condition of carbon brushes of the motor checked by a qualified
person.
• Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or
cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace both carbon
brushes at a time.
