Known M300 issues
Continuous pacer spikes
CAUTION
Continuous pacer spikes can appear on the ECG
waveform if the M300 is docked on the bedside
charger and the electrode impedances are not
balanced or as a result of electrical interference
generated by other devices in the patient's imme-
diate vicinity. False pacer spikes have the poten-
tial to affect the accuracy of ECG beat
classification.
To resolve this issue:
– Be sure to use fresh electrodes
– Temporarily remove the Infinity M300 from the
bedside charger until the electrode imped-
ance normalizes
– Turn pacer detection off, if appropriate.
Reviewing stored ST complexes at Symphony
When reviewing the M300 stored ST complexes at
Symphony, the three augmented leads (aVR, aVL,
aVF) will not be available in the ST complexes view.
ECG lead wires setting
NOTE
In TruST 12-lead mode (ECG Lead Wires =
6 wires and TruST 12-Lead = On), Leads III, aVL,
and aVF will not be displayed on a remote view
from a network device.
To resolve this issue, TruST 12-lead mode must
be disabled, as follows:
Set TruST 12-Lead = Off,
or set ECG Lead Wires = 5.

Supplement for Infinity CentralStation Wide VG2.n and M300 VG1.n
TruST on, RA lead off, lead III displays at the
M300 but not at the ICS
NOTE
When TruST is set to On, an RA electrode lead-
off condition will result in Lead III not being dis-
played or stored at the ICS.
This affects the ICS display only (heart rate and
arrhythmia processing are not affected).
% Paced does not calculate when the M300 is in
Pacer fusion mode
When pacer detection mode is set to Pacer fusion,
the value in the % Paced parameter field displays
0%. However, the pacemaker markers do display
on the ECG waveform.
ICS VG1 incorrectly displays % Paced and the
alarm off icon (IEC alarm off)
parameter field
The alarm off icon should not display because there
are no alarms associated with % Paced.
