NUK Breast Milk Container and
NUK Standard Bottle
•
If the bottle is damaged from the inside i.e. by
scratches, it should be replaced for hygiene
reasons.
•
All individual parts not used should always be
kept out of the reach of children as there may
be a danger of choking.
•
Bottles and accessories may become dis-
coloured by tea and fruit drinks.
•
Feeding bottles which are sealed and contain
feeds should not be put in the microwave as
there may be a danger of explosion or mate-
rial damage. Uneven heating may cause scald-
ing to your child therefore please check the
temperature before feeding.
•
NUK bottles and teats are only compatible
with the relevant system, for example NUK
First Choice.
3.5 NUK Teats
•
Teats should be stored in a hygienic condition
(clean and dry) at room temperature and away
from light sources.
•
For hygiene reasons, before using for the first
time, teats should be sterilised in boiling water
for 5 minutes.
•
Teats should also be cleaned before each use.
•
Teats should not be exposed to direct sunlight
or heat, nor should they be left in sterilising
solution beyond the period specified, as this
may cause damage to the material.
•
For hygiene and safety reasons, teats should
be replaced every 1-2 months.
For the health and safety of your child:
IMPORTANT!
•
This product may only be used under adult
supervision.
•
A teat should never be used as a soother.
•
Sustained sucking of sweetened feeds, fruit
juices or fruit acids over a long period may
cause tooth decay.
•
Always check the temperature before feeding.
•
Check the teat each time for excessive use by
pulling the teat in all directions – in particular
where teething infants are concerned. Discard
at the first signs of any weak points or damage
to avoid the danger of small parts being
swallowed.
