Description
The device can be used to control the insulation (in compliance with CEI EN 61557-8) and overload of the transformer of distribution boards for rooms for medical use (IT-M systems).
Installation instructions
The item does not require special mechanical or electronic
installation precautions. The item is designed to be fitted on
35 mmm DIN rail. Before installation check that the actual
voltage of the auxiliary power supply and the monitored line
correspond to the ratings on the nameplate.
During wiring carefully comply with the connection diagram:
a connection mistake can jeopardise operation, or cause
damage to the device.
A power cut or short circuit on the connection between
the earth leakage control system and the repeater does
not jeopardise the operation of the earth leakage control
system itself. The circuits powered by the transformer must
be separated from others by a protection partition (CEI
64-08). Up to a maximum of 5 QSO230VRS repeaters can be
connected to each earth leakage control system.

It will be necessary to fit the bushing supplied to the
connection cable 336904, between the earth leakage
control system and the remote panel, as close as possible
to the earth leakage control system. To do this, remove
the cable sheath for a section of 20 cm and wind the cable
pair 5 times around the bushing.
An address (from 1 to 5) must be assigned to each repeater.
This is done by selecting the DIP-switches on the back.
WARNING: it is not possible to assign rp addresses: other
than 1...5, and/or use the same address on two panels
connected to the same earth leakage control system device.
Control devices must be connected in parallel.

NOTIFICATIONS
Normal operation: no notification (neither on earth leakage control system, nor
on panel)
Pre-alarm: flashing LED only (both earth leakage control system and panel)
Alarm: fixed LED + activation of the notification relay (earth leakage control
system), fixed LED + audible signal activation (panel)
Silencing key: after recognising the alarm condition the operator can disable the
audible signal by pressing the silencing key for at least 1 second (the audible
signal is disabled within 5 seconds).
The visual notification remains until the insulation resistance value is higher than
the set value.

TEST KEY
It can be used to check that the earth leakage control system is working
correctly. Press the TEST key until the sound signaller emits a sound (2 beeps).
Release the TEST key. The earth leakage control system will automatically
simulate an earth leakage, followed by visual and audible notification, and
switching of the alarm relay. At the end of the simulation the device resets
automatically, returning to the monitoring condition (the TESTING process
takes about 30 seconds).
