5. Installation before use

5.1 Mounting the flash tube

1. Remove the reflector or other accessories from the head section of the

flash.

2. Align the red dot on the underside of the flash tube with the red dot on the

flash tube socket. Push the flash tube into the socket, until it fits tightly.

1. Turn the fastening screw counter-clockwise, until it is loose.

2. Insert the reflector into the accessories connection.

3. Turn the fastening screw clockwise to fasten the reflector.

1. Before connecting the Power Porta make sure that the power supply unit is

switched off.

2. Plug one end of the electric power supply cable into the power supply

socket on the flash and the other end into the socket of the Power Porta.

3. Switch on the power supply unit. The flash should normally be fully charged

and ready for use.
