6.10 Beep

You can control the beep sound via individual functions (C.Fn menu, function
button 1)

6.11 Synchronous triggering

The synch cable connection is a socket of 3.5 mm in diameter. If you connect
a trigger to this port, the flash will be generated synchronous to the opening of
the camera aperture.

6.12 PC synchronous triggering

Plug a PC synch cable with one end into the PC synch port of the flash and the
other end into the PC synch port on the camera. The flash generates a flash as
soon as the trigger on the camera is pressed.

Overheating protection
Do not trigger the flash more than 75 times at full power within a short space
of time. After a series of 75 successive flashes, allow the flash to cool down
for at least 10 minutes. The overheating protection is automatically activated.
You can see this if charge interval goes up to approx. 10-15 seconds. The

Remedy
Restart the device. If
this does not resolve
the problem, send it to
the manufacturer.
Switch the flash off and
wait 10 minutes.
Send the device to the
manufacturer.
Software update
necessary. Send the
device to the manu-
facturer.
Recharge the Power

replace the rechar-
geable battery or the
Power Porta
