E. Adjusting the speed:
The desired speed is set using the large rotary knob (E).

F. Adjusting the direction of rotation:
To protect the motor and ball bearings, you should set the

rotating speed to "0" or put the unit in "standby" for a
short moment before you change the direction of rotation.

Clockwise:
To switch the unit into clockwise rotation, push the toggle

switch labeled "Direction" (F) onto the "right" position.

Counterclockwise:
To switch the unit into counterclockwise rotation, push the

toggle switch labeled "Direction" (F) onto the "left" position.

G. Standby mode: When the toggle switch (F) is positioned in
the middle, the unit is in standby and the motor stops, e.g.,
to stop the grinding head for a short moment without altering
the selected speed. However, to completely switch the unit
off, please place the ON/OFF switch (D) onto the "OFF"
position.
In cases of malfunctioning:
• Check that the power supply is correct.
• Check whether the handpiece is correctly connected to the
unit.
• Check whether the unit is switched "ON".
• If the problems have still not been solved after following these
steps, please consult your service center immediately.
