REPAIR AND CLEANING PROCEDURE
LOWER SEALS KIT (FIG. 5)
For easier service, it is recommended to stop the pump near
the lowest stroke position.
1. Detach the pump from the inductor plate by removing the screws
(72) and the flanges (68).
2. Firmly fix the upper valve (61) in a vise. Unscrew the lower tube (66).
3. With hammer and pin punch, eject the pin (79). Then unscrew the
primer (65).
4. Remove the lower valve (64) and replace the v-ring (63).
5. Unscrew the 4 bolts (67) and split the whole motor from the
assembly formed by the components (55) and (61).
6. With the valve (61) still grabbed in the vise, unscrew the body (55).
Using a strong bar inserted on the outlet port, as a lever, can ease
this step.
7. Making sure the orientation is as shown in this figure, replace seals
(53) and (54) by new ones.
8. Remove the circlip (57) from the interior of the valve (61). Take the
valve (60) and replace its seal (59). Make sure the orientation is as
show in this figure.
9. Re-assembly in reverse order, applying grease in both rods (29) and
(30), and light thread locker in all threads except in the component (65).
10. All these seals are included in the available kit 534 104.
