7.1 Maintenance schedule

For scheduled or as-needed maintenance, refer to
Maintenance task

Replace the reagents

Refill the electrode inner fill
solution
Replace the pump tubing
(at temperatures above
27 ºC)
Clean the sample screen
Replace the pump tubing
(at temperatures below
27 ºC)
Replace the lanthanum
crystal tip
Replace the analyzer
tubing
Replace the working and
reference electrode
Clean the enclosure
Replace the fuse

7.2 Hold outputs for maintenance

The hold outputs function stops alarms and keeps recorder outputs at a consistent level during
maintenance.
1. Go to MENU>MAINTENANCE>HOLD OUPUTS.
2. Push the up arrow to activate the hold for 60 minutes. The alarm LED flashes.
3. To deactivate the hold, go to MENU>MAINTENANCE>HOLD OUPUTS.
4. Select OFF, then push ENTER.
7.3 Replace the reagents
Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and wear all of the personal protective
equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current safety data sheets
(MSDS/SDS) for safety protocols.
