temperatures (< -30°C or >+50°C); prolonged exposure to the elements (UV rays, moisture) or to chemicals; electrical constraints; the fall arrest system
becoming twisted when in use; or sharp edges, friction, cuts, etc.
Before each use, check the condition of the ladder: visual inspection to check:
- the condition of the straps and rope (where appropriate) - no incipient cuts, burns, unusual shrinkage,
- the condition of the seams and ends of the rope (where appropriate) - no visible damage,
- the condition of the metal parts (aluminium bar inside the rung straps) and components (where appropriate) – no deformation, no oxidation, no cutting
surface,
- that the connectors function properly (opening/locking).
If any defects are found or suspected, the ladder should not be reused.
Do not remove, add or replace any component of the product.

INSPECTION:
The service life of the product is unlimited; it may be used as long as after-use and annual inspection results are compliant.
The ladder must be systematically inspected by the user after use, and ALWAYS before repacking it in its bag, in accordance with the above criteria
(§ Before each use, check the condition of the ladder). It must also be inspected every year by a qualified person in accordance with the criteria of this
product's inspection guide. Lastly, it must be inspected if in doubt, to ensure its condition and therefore the user's safety. The ladder inspection frequency
must be adapted to the conditions of use.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: (These instructions must be strictly observed)
During transportation, keep the ladder in its packaging and away from any sharp edges. Clean with soapy water, dry with a dry cloth and hang it in a
naturally ventilated area away from any direct fire or heat source, as well as any elements which became wet during their usage. The metal parts will be
wiped with a cloth impregnated with paraffin oil. Bleaches and detergents are strictly prohibited. The ladder should be stored in a cool, dry, well-venti-
lated space in its packaging, away from direct sunlight, heat, and chemical products.
