Intended use

The PARI TRACHEO SET facilitates inhalation therapy with PARI inhalation systems
for tracheostomised patients. It contains a comfortable mask made of soft, latex-
free silicone that was specifically developed for tracheostomised patients and an
extension tube that makes it possible to comfortably position the nebuliser during
the inhalation.
The PARI TRACHEO SET can be used with all PARI nebulisers except the PARI SINUS
nebuliser.
The PARI TRACHEO SET is designed for repeated use.
The manufacturer will be able to inform you about using the PARI TRACHEO SET
with any new PARI nebulisers that may appear in the future.
Application
Figure B:
• Attach the PARI TRACHEO SET to the PARI nebuliser. In doing so take care to
ensure proper mask orientation, depending on the nebuliser used.
Figure C (only PARI LC PLUS nebuliser or PARI LL nebuliser):
• Remove the inhalation valve for the duration of the inhalation.

Figure (only PARI LC SPRINT nebuliser):
• Open the cap.
The cap must remain open for the duration of the inhalation.

• Use the PARI TRACHEO SET with the particular nebuliser as shown in the figure.
The PARI TRACHEO SET should always be viewed as a component or
accessory of a PARI nebuliser and is designed for repeated use (change of
patients is possible).
The same procedures must be used for hygienic reprocessing of the PARI
TRACHEO SET as those recommended for the PARI nebulisers. For this
purpose, in all cases please read the chapter „Hygienic Re-use" in the
instructions for use of the PARI nebuliser.
