FITTING A MONOLINK
1. Apply the grease supplied to the screws
(7).
2. Position the Monolink® saddle on the E
Post 2. (Fig. 1)
3. Bring the two upper clamps (1) together
and fit screw (7a) finger-tight. (Fig. 2)
4. Next bring the two lower clamps (5 and
6) together and fit screw (7b) finger-tight.
(Fig. 3)
5. Adjust your saddle. Lock the rearward
movement of the saddle first with the
upper screw (7-a) and then set the angle
with the lower screw (7-b). (Fig. 4)

FITTING A SADDLE WITH TWIN ROUND OR OVAL RAILS
1. Position the saddle on the E Post 2 with
the rails either side of the saddle clamp
head.
2. Insert the upper holder (2) marked with
the symbol shown in Fig. 5.1 if you wish
to use a saddle with 7 mm dia. round rails
and holder (3) marked with the symbol
shown in Fig. 5.2 for a saddle with oval
rails.
3. Insert lower holder (4) next under the
saddle rails.
4. Offer up the two lower clamps (5 and
6) and tighten the screw lubricated
beforehand to specified torque of 8 Nm
once your saddle has been correctly
positioned.

Warning:
The E Post 2 is not compatible with
saddles that have oval rails higher than
9.6 mm.
