Plastic core liner
1. Sharpen the end of the plastic core liner to approx. 40° using the ABICOR
BINZEL
-sharpener.
®
2. Push the plastic core liner through the wire conduit as far as it will go into
the contact tip.
3. Insert the collet, the O-ring and the union nut onto the plastic core liner,
keep these under tension and tighten the union nut.
4. Guide the central plug with the extra long plastic core liner through the
central adaptor into the wire feeding unit. Mark the plastic core liner
directly before the rollers and loosen the central plug again.
5. Cut the plastic core liner off at the marking using the ABICOR BINZEL
6. Sharpen the cutting point.

Cleaning the torch neck

– Clean the inside of the gas nozzle regularly to remove welding spatters and
spray with original ABICOR BINZEL
– Check the consumables for visible damage and replace if necessary.
If the measures described below are not successful, please consult your
dealer or the manufacturer.
Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components,
e.g. power supply, wire feeding unit, cooling unit etc.
Problem
Torch becomes too hot.

• Current connection on
the torch side and to
the workpiece are
loose.
• Too little coolant flow.
• Control line interrupted/
faulty.
• Flow control instrument
in the circulating coo-
ling unit has triggered.

– Check and tighten!
– Check and tighten!
– Check coolant system!
– Check / Repair!
– Check level of coolant
and fill up if neces-
sary!
