Trouble-shooting list

Fault
No LED is shining, the device
is switched on and is supplied
with operating current.
After switching on (winter and
summer operation) none of the
LEDs are lit.
The green LED comes on when
the unit is switched on but the
heater does not operate.
After switching on the heating
system, the green LED shines
and
the red LED flashes with 5 Hz,
the red LED flashes with 1 Hz,
the red and the yellow LEDs
flash alternately with 1 Hz.
After the heater is switched on,
the green LED is lit and the red
LED blinks.
Approximately 30 seconds after
the heater is switched on, the
red LED is lit.
After operating for a longer pe-
riod of time, the heater switches
to failure.
Green and red LEDs flash (with
5 Hz) after the heating system
has been switched off.
Green LED flashes (with 5 Hz)
after the heating system has
been switched off.
Cause
Automatic restart is
blocked, e.g. after a power
failure.
No operating voltage.
Device fuse or vehicle fuse
defective.
The temperature setting on
the control panel is lower
than the room temperature.
Open window above cowl
(window switch).
Under-voltage.
Battery voltage is too low
< 10.0 V.
No 230 V operating
voltage.
230 V fuse defective.
Overheating protection has
activated.
Threatening under-voltage.
Battery voltage is too low
< 10.4 V.
There is a threat of under-
voltage when heating up
the water.
Battery voltage is too low
< 10.4 V.
Electronics are defective.
Gas cylinder or quick-clo-
sure valve in the gas line is
closed.
Combustion air infeed or
exhaust outlet is sealed.
Summer operation with
empty water tank.
Hot-air outlets blocked.
Recirculated air intake
blocked.
Gas pressure regulator
iced up.
Butane content in the gas
cylinder too high.
Unit was switched off dur-
ing failure. After-running
is active in order to reduce
the unit's temperature.

order to reduce the unit's
temperature.
Rectification
Reset (fault reset) by switching off, waiting 5 seconds
and then switching on again.
Check 12 V battery voltage, charge if necessary.
Check all electrical plug connections.
Check the unit or vehicle fuse and replace if necessary
(see fuses).
Select higher room temperature at the control panel.
Close window.
Charge battery. If necessary replace old battery.
Re-establish 230 V operational voltage.
Replace 230 V fuse.
Reset overheating protection. Allow heater to cool,
remove connection cover and press reset button.
Charge battery.
Charge battery.
Please contact the Truma Service.
Check gas supply and open valves.
Inspect openings for contamination (slush, ice, leaves,
etc.) and remove contamination if necessary.
Switch device off and allow to cool. Fill boiler with
water.
Check individual outlet apertures.
Remove blockage from recirculated air intake.
Use regulator heating (EisEx).
Use propane (at temperatures below 10 °C in particu-
lar, butane is unsuitable for heating purposes).
After-running will switch off after a few minutes. Only
at that time will a failure reset be possible (switch off
and then back on).
No failure. After-running will switch off after approxi-
mately 5 minutes.
