OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug cord into electrical outlet, operate 100-240 volt, 50-60 cycle AC electrical current
or as noted on unit. To start trimmer move switch button to "On" (–) position; to stop,
move switch button back to original (O) position. After using your Andis trimmer,
rewrap cord loosely and store in a safe place. For care of the cord, untwist it while in
use.
UNIVERSAL AC/DC POWER ADAPTER
The unit is equipped with a universal AC/DC power adapter (Figure A).
Interchangeable input plugs are included for use in most countries around the world
(Figures B & C) and plugs may vary by kit.
INSERTING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Insert tabs on top of plug into slots on power adapter (Figure D).
3. Push lower half of plug towards power adapter until it snaps into place.
REMOVING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Push up on tab on bottom of plug until plug releases from adapter.
ATTACHING THE TRIMMER COMBS
(Some models do not come with attachment combs)
To attach trimmer combs, slide front of comb over the teeth of the blade (Figure E).
Snap comb down over back of blade until comb snaps into place (Figure F). Combs
help guide hair to cutting blades and give you precise control of hair lengths. Each
comb allows a different length of cut which is indicated on the combs. Use the chart
to find the approximate lengths of cut. Different blade angles in relation to the skin,
as well as thickness and texture of the hair will vary the cutting length.
USER MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
The internal mechanism of your trimmer has been permanently lubricated at the
factory. Other than the recommended maintenance described in this manual, no
other maintenance should be performed, except by Andis Company or an Andis
authorized service station.
