WHEN FINISHED IRONING
• We recommend cleaning the iron after use as follows: put the selector switch on position
"LINEN" and let the iron heat. When the temperature has been reached, take the iron
from the base, hold it vertically and keep the steam button underneath the handle of the
iron pressed for 30 seconds, then wait 30 seconds and repeat this cycle twice.
• Set the selector switch to position
• Take out the water tank and pour out the remaining water.
• We recommend placing the iron on its base when you store it. The therefore foreseen
place is non-slip and will not damage the soleplate of the iron.

CORD STORAGE

•
The base of the appliance is equipped with a cord storage
facility around which you can wind the power cord and the
connection cord which makes it easy to store the appliance.
• Fold the connection cord in half (Fig. A).
• Wind the connection cord counter-clockwise around the cord
storage facility (Fig. B).

Tie the power cord and the connection cord. Wind the
remaining power cord clockwise around the cord slot, then put
the plug between the power cord and the connection cord (Fig.
C).
HANDLE
The handle attached to the base can be used to carry the appliance. It also serves as an
on/off switch: if you lift the handle up, the power is shut off and if you put the handle down, the
power is switched on. So you always have to put the handle down before use. To do so, press
down both handle release buttons simultaneously and then lay the handle down.
After use, allow the appliance to cool
down, then wind the power cord
around the cord storage facility of the
base (see section "CORD STORAGE")
and put the iron onto the base. Lift the
handle up until you hear a click,
indicating that the handle has been
locked in place and you can use it to
carry the appliance.
ANTI-SCALE CARTRIDGE
•
Your appliance is equipped with an anti-calc cartridge located inside the water tank. As a
result, you can use tap water as it will be filtered by the cartridge.
• It is necessary to replace the cartridge approximately every 2 or 3 months. However this
period may vary depending on the frequency of use and of the scale content of the
water in your area. If the water contains much scale, you will have to replace the
cartridge more frequently. You can delay the replacement of the cartridge by using
distilled water or a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% distilled water.
• To take it out, press the release button of the water tank, slide the water tank out of the
base and lift the cartridge out of the water tank. When you put a new anti-calc cartridge
