Installation
The safety side height extensions are supplied as a left and right hand pair. Ensure that each
extension is fitted on the correct side of the bed. To install the accessory:
1. Raise the safety side to its upright locked position.
2. Position the foot end of the extension on the safety side with the saddle (A) resting
on the middle safety side rail and the extension angled away from the bed.
3. Fit the foot end clamp plate (B) on the outside of the safety side top rail and secure
it to the height extension with a hexagon head screw (C).
4. Position the other end of the extension against the inside of the safety side head end
upright with the claw (D) around the middle safety side rail.
5. Fit the head end clamp plate (E) on the outside of the upright and secure it to the height
extension with two hexagon head screws (F).
6. Check that all three fixing screws are securely fastened and that the height extension
is securely attached and does not interfere with raising and lowering the safety side.
