Figure 1-5 is a diagram of the bottom view of the VDM100. The following is
a description of the various connections and features:
1. lnput/Output:This connection is a 15-Pin D-subminiature (DB-15) plug
(male). DC power and operational signals (analog and TTL) are routed
through this connector.
2. RS-485 Diagnostic Port: This connection is a 2.5mm Mini Jack. This
provides RS485 serial communication access to the VDM100 for use by
the Brooks GUl. See Section 4.0 Operation of the GUI for VDM100 and the
Brooks GUl manual for information on how to properly connect to and
utilize this port.
